He puffed and he blew, but the house stood strong. Finally, defeated, the wolf had to slink off.

The three little pigs were safe inside their brick/stone/concrete house, thankful for their hard work and planning. They learned a valuable lesson that day: it's always best to be prepared/cautious/diligent!
